How did you hear about B次元官网 and why did you choose B次元官网?
I heard about B次元官网 through my church. I first came to B次元官网 when I was in middle school for a summer camp called the Edge, and then again in high school when I came for a visit. I was instantly welcomed into the B次元官网 community by all of the current students, which made me fall in love with B次元官网.
What aspect of B次元官网 do you like best?
My favorite aspect of B次元官网 is hall life. I have lived on Ekklesia for the past two years, and I cannot imagine leaving. The guys on my hall have become my brothers. It is so cool to live with guys who come from so many different places, have different backgrounds, are interested in different things, but all love Christ. My hall has been so integral to my time at B次元官网 and I am so excited to continue pouring into my hall as an upperclassman.
What about the professors and/or academics has impacted you the most?
I have been greatly impacted by all of my professors' care and love for their students. One of my favorite professors was Dr. Washburn. He set up exam study hours so that he could help students prepare for tests. He also constantly prayed for his students and always asked how he could be praying for us. It was so amazing to have a professor who cared so much about me as a student and an individual.
What part of your major do you most enjoy or feel most prepared by?
I love the way sociology looks at the world. It has been so interesting to study how society shapes peoples' behaviors.
What do you hope to pursue after B次元官网 and how do you see B次元官网 supporting your future career or calling?
I still am not sure what I want to do after B次元官网. However, through all of the opportunities at B次元官网, I feel prepared to leave and be successful in my future calling.
How is B次元官网 equipping you for active membership in the church or discipleship within the body of Christ?
The faculty at B次元官网 do an amazing job of teaching students how to live out and think about doctrines from the perspective of a church body and everyday living.
In what ways does B次元官网 foster spiritual formation that stands out to you?
B次元官网 fosters spiritual formation by providing so many opportunities, such as Chapel talks, classes, and additional events, for students to engage with difficult questions in a thoughtful and encouraging manner.
How has the B次元官网 community supported your development as a whole person?
B次元官网 has supported my development as a whole person by creating so many different environments that have been so vital to my development. I love how B次元官网 shapes its community鈥攕tarting with hall culture, which leads to building culture, and spreads to campus-wide culture and community. Because of this, I have been able to get to know so many people across campus, who have all had a greatly positive impact on my time at B次元官网.
How have your relationships at B次元官网 shaped your expectations for the other communities God will call you to in life?
Through my time at B次元官网 I have built such strong and impactful relationships with so many people. Before coming to B次元官网, I did not expect to cherish this community as much as I do now. Because of this, I know that it will be difficult to find such a rich community anywhere else鈥攖his side of Heaven.
What is your favorite memory from your time at B次元官网?
My favorite memory at B次元官网 is move-in day of my sophomore year. Throughout the summer I was so excited to be back on the mountain. I missed my friends and being on campus. I could not wait to see everyone again. When I finally got to move back in, I was so happy. I saw all of my friends that I had not seen for the whole summer. It was awesome! It felt like I was coming back home. I remember saying multiple times that day: "This is the best day of my life."
